About Fun Custom Caricatures
My approach is simple because I do not use AI generators or automated filters. Whether I am using my digital Procreate setup or pen and ink on paper, every single line is hand-drawn by me to capture the specific personality, inside jokes, or quirks you want to highlight.
I started my caricature work in Bengaluru, initially sketching for friends and family, and eventually moved into creating custom series for corporate teams. When you commission a caricature from me, you are not getting a generic template.
My Techniques
- Pen-on-Paper: I use a signature hatch-line technique with pens and brush pens. This gives the work a tactile, raw feel that prints beautifully for framing.
- Digital Illustration: I work on my iPad using Procreate and the Apple Pencil. This is perfect if you need a high-resolution file for printing, social media, or digital invitations.
How We Start
To get the best result, share photos that capture the person's true expression or an 'in-action' story you want to highlight. For corporate clients, I often incorporate props or work themes like 'The Workaholic' or 'The King Bee' to make awards feel personal and humorous.
Once we agree on the theme, I handle the composition. If it is a digital piece, you will receive the final high-resolution file and a bonus timelapse video of the drawing process, which is often a hit for gifts. For physical paper work, we can arrange for the original to reach you.
Turnaround
I typically need 3 to 5 days per subject. This allows me to focus on the details that make the caricature look like the person rather than just a cartoon version of them.
