When you order a burnaway cake, you decide what lies beneath. You can send us a specific photo or a written message, and we print it on edible wafer paper that is placed under the top layer. Once you light the wick, the top burns away cleanly to reveal your secret, making it a great option if you want to pop a question or share a memory in a way that feels personal and fun.

Our burnaway cakes are essentially a two-layer surprise. We design the top layer to ignite safely, exposing whatever you have chosen for the reveal. Whether it is a photo for a birthday or a heartfelt message for an anniversary, the process is simple. You provide the image or text, and we handle the print and assembly.

How It Works

• The Selection: You pick your size. We offer a Bento size (350g) for smaller celebrations, and 1/2kg or 1kg versions for larger groups.
• The Reveal: We use food-safe edible paper for the burn layer. It is designed to consume quickly and cleanly, ensuring the hidden layer underneath remains intact and visible.
• Flavor Options: Our signature flavor for these is usually Dutch Truffle, but we can discuss other options from our kitchen depending on your preference.

Ordering & Logistics

Because these require custom printing and precise assembly, we need at least 2 days of lead time. This ensures we can get your photo or message perfectly aligned. We bake everything to order here in Bandra and offer delivery across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area to keep the cake fresh for your event.
