What We’re All About
I run Vanilla Beans with my mom, Deepa, straight out of our Bandra home bakery. Every cake is vegetarian and eggless, made fresh for each order. We’re obsessed with making desserts that actually taste like a treat, not just look pretty.
Signature Cakes & Flavours
Our Nutella strawberry celebration cake is what most people know us for. We wait for strawberry season just to make it - chocolate sponge, homemade compote, Nutella, and chocolate-dipped strawberries. Sometimes we add crispy kunafa, pistachio, or even a rum-soaked sponge for a boozy twist. If you’re into crunch, there’s a crumble version too.
Chocolate fans, I’ve got you. Our Belgian dark chocolate cake uses 50% or 70% dark chocolate, and you can get it with strawberries, coffee ganache, orange marmalade, or Nutella hazelnut.
Cakes with a Twist
We started Mumbai’s first burnaway surprise cake - light the top, reveal a secret message or photo. It’s a hit for birthdays and proposals. Boozy cakes are also a thing here, especially our aged Xmas Plum Cake.
Seasonal & Special Diet Cakes
When mango season hits, we go wild with mango fusion cakes - think AamRasmalai Cake and mango cheesecake. For folks with dietary needs, we do a gluten-free vegan celebration cake with cranberry and almonds (needs a day’s notice).

My Story
Hey, we're Rohit and Deepa, Vanilla Beans is our little world. Started in our Bandra kitchen, just two of us making desserts we love.
