The mandap is the heart of your ceremony. I design these spaces to be as sacred as your vows and as beautiful as the memories you'll make in them.

A beautiful and traditional marriage mantapa, featuring ornate golden pillars and a roof adorned with fresh flowers. The red carpet and stage create a classic and regal setting for the wedding rituals.

This unique wedding stage is designed to resemble a traditional temple sanctum, complete with carved deity figures. The red and white floral decorations add to the sacred and authentic atmosphere of the ceremony.

An exceptionally grand wedding stage design in white and red. The setup features majestic pillars, intricate latticework, and a profusion of red gladiolus flowers, creating a palatial feel for the ceremony.

A wedding mantapa featuring unique lotus-shaped floral motifs and a backdrop of delicate flower strings. The design combines traditional elements with artistic floral work for a distinctive look.

A magnificent circular wedding mandap being set up by my team. The golden structure is intricately carved, and the floral arrangement of white and maroon flowers adds a touch of elegance and grandeur.

An outdoor wedding mandap designed with vibrant pink and gold drapes. This setup is perfect for a daytime ceremony, combining the richness of traditional colors with the beauty of a natural setting.

About Grand Wedding Mandaps

Choosing between fresh marigolds and premium artificial accents can change both the look and the budget of your mandap. I often suggest a hybrid approach—using fresh, aromatic flowers on the pillars, while relying on high-quality fabric and artificial elements for the structural backdrop. This keeps the setup looking crisp and perfect throughout your entire ceremony, even if it runs long under the warm studio lighting.

When we plan your mandap, I want the design to feel like an extension of your family's style rather than just a rental setup. My standard mandap designs typically occupy a 15x15ft footprint, which fits comfortably in most Bengaluru halls while still offering a grand visual impact.

Designing Your Mandap Style

Whether you are set on a traditional vibe or something more contemporary, we focus on specific themes that align with your wedding aesthetic:

  • Traditional Temple Pillar: These feature rich, gold-tone pillars and intricate brass elements. It is a timeless look that works perfectly for traditional Muhurtham ceremonies.
  • Pastel Floral Themes: For a softer, modern look, we use a lighter color palette with orchids, roses, and layered fabric draping. These setups are particularly popular for morning or outdoor ceremonies where natural light complements the delicate colors.

What Goes Behind the Scenes

Building a mandap isn't just about the flowers you see in the photos. Behind the scenes, my team handles the structural integrity, ensuring that heavy lighting rigs and floral arches are safely secured. We also manage the flow of the ritual by coordinating with the priests for the placement of the Havan Kund and low wooden seating (Peeta), so that everything you need for the ceremony is right where it should be when you arrive.

My goal is to handle all the logistics—from the entrance arch and walkway styling to the final floral rangoli—so that when you walk in, you aren't thinking about the setup. You are only thinking about the person waiting for you at the altar.
