About From Sketch to Structure: Our Design Process
Achieving the clean aesthetic of our circular fireplace requires rigorous on-site coordination, particularly with the lighting integration. When we select book-matched marble, we are already thinking about the structural load and the recessed electrical tracks behind the wall, so the final installation feels effortless rather than forced.
Our design process is rarely a straight line. It begins with sketches where we explore volumetric adjacencies, but the true work happens during site supervision. For features like this circular fireplace, we manage the entire lifecycle: from sourcing specific stone blocks for book-matched marble to coordinating with the electrical and HVAC teams to conceal services within the aesthetic shell.
We believe in getting our hands dirty. Whether we are detailing a facade in New Delhi or ensuring the grain of the Burma Teak panels aligns perfectly in an interior, we are physically present. Our approach relies on approximately 40 to 50 site visits per project to resolve execution challenges in real time. We do not hand off a plan and hope for the best; we guide the execution to ensure design fidelity.
