Wedding Decor Transformations and Venue Setup Insights
Ever wonder how an empty venue becomes a wedding dream? This is the reality behind the photos, from the initial setup to the final look.
This video shows the "before and after" of a vibrant Mehendi setup. You can see my team at work, turning simple materials into a colorful and magical space, including the unique umbrella wall photobooth.
This video is a quick look back at over 15 years of creating magical weddings. It's a journey through some of my favorite projects, showcasing the variety of styles and scales I've had the pleasure of working on.
From a simple brick wall structure to a fully decorated floral stage, this video shows the transformation for an open-lawn wedding in Karjat. It highlights how I can build a grand setup from scratch in any location.
This is the entrance to a vibrant Haldi ceremony. I used a combination of pink drapes and marigold flower arrangements to create a festive and welcoming pathway for guests.
This Haldi stage features a unique geometric design. I used triangular frames decorated with marigold garlands against a green hedge wall to create a modern and visually interesting backdrop.
About Behind The Scenes: The Magic in Making
When we step into an open lawn in Karjat or a banquet hall in Goregaon, the transformation doesn't happen by magic, but by logistics. We always start with the infrastructure—trusses, lighting, and heavy drapes—before the flowers even touch the frames. If you are picking a venue that acts as a blank canvas, know that we prioritize structural stability and lighting angles first, because no amount of décor can fix a poorly lit corner or a weak stage foundation.
The Reality of Event Setup
We have spent 15+ years learning that the chaos before the wedding is just as important as the big day itself. Clients often see the perfectly lit reception or the vibrant Haldi setup, but our work starts hours earlier. We focus on the unseen details that actually make or break an event.
Our Workflow Breakdown
- Structural Planning: For outdoor events, especially at venues like farmhouses or open lawns, we assess the wind, ground leveling, and power backup before deciding on decor elements.
- Lighting Coordination: We don't just put up fairy lights. We coordinate the truss height and moving head positions to ensure your stage backdrop looks just as good in photos as it does to the naked eye.
- Material Handling: From the heavy brass Urlis used in traditional setups to the delicate artificial wisteria hangings for mandaps, our team manages the transport and installation to ensure everything arrives in perfect condition.
Why the 'Before' Matters
Whether it is a destination wedding in a new city or a local celebration in Mumbai, the process remains the same. We view the space as a canvas, not just a room. When you see our work, you are seeing the result of hours of cable management, floral arrangement, and careful styling. We believe in being transparent about this process because it helps you understand why we need access to the venue ahead of time and how we coordinate with other vendors to keep your schedule seamless.
