My Dog Training Philosophy & Certifications
It is not just about certificates for me; it is about the bond. Here is the training journey and the methods that drive how I help you and your dog. 🐾
As a certified K9 Coach, I believe in staying updated with the latest techniques. This certification represents my dedication to professional growth and providing high-quality training.
It was an honor to learn from the best at the Canaan Pet Resort & K9 Academy. Graduating from this program sharpened my skills and deepened my knowledge of dog behavior and protection sports.
For me, it is all about the dogs. This is my 'why'. Moments like this, holding these two puppies, fuel my passion to help owners build the best possible relationship with their companions.
Looking at this puppy, I see pure potential. My philosophy is to nurture that potential through understanding and communication, not force.
Every dog I work with becomes a part of my journey. The affection and trust we build is the greatest reward and the core of my training philosophy.
About My Credentials & Philosophy
Choosing a trainer is about more than just finding someone with experience; it is about finding a mindset that fits your dog. My approach centers on positive reinforcement and play, but my hands-on training from world champions in protection sports means I know how to apply those methods effectively, even for stubborn or high-energy breeds.
Continuous Learning
Training for me is a lifelong process. I do not believe in standing still, which is why I sought out advanced training at the Canaan Pet Resort & K9 Academy. Working under world champions in Protection Dog Sports (IGP) taught me that precision and drive building are not just for competitive athletes; they are powerful tools for everyday obedience too.
My Approach to Training
- Thinsi Nodona (Let's see if it eats): This is my playful mantra for drive building. I focus on what motivates your dog, whether that is food, play, or fetch, to make training the highlight of their day.
- Positive Reinforcement: I avoid forceful drills. Whether we are doing puppy home setups or behavioral modification for reactive dogs, the goal is always to keep the dog engaged and happy to work with you.
- Real-World Application: My credentials in IGP sports bring a higher level of discipline to my obedience packages. This means that when we work on loose leash walking or recall in your local Bengaluru park, we are applying the same attention to detail that is required on a sports field.
Why it Matters
When you hire a trainer, you are letting someone into your home and your dog's life. I prioritize transparency, showing you how to read body language and subtle cues so that you become the primary trainer for your dog. It is not about me fixing a problem; it is about me teaching you how to build a stronger connection with your companion.
