About Foundational Horsemanship for All Ages
You don't just learn to sit on a horse here. In our Level 1 foundation course, you spend 4 weeks mastering the basics: how to approach a horse safely, the correct mounting technique, and building the core strength for a balanced walk to trot transition. By the end, you will be tacking up your horse yourself, because true horsemanship starts with caring for your teammate, not just riding.

The Curriculum
We keep your saddle time practical and focused. Over 10 to 12 sessions, we cover:
- Safety First: Understanding horse psychology and basic stable management.
- Posture and Balance: Mastering the correct seat and leg position that serves as the base for all future riding.
- Rhythm Control: Moving from the walk to controlled trot transitions, and understanding how to steer using subtle rein aids.
- Bonding: Learning to groom, brush, and saddle your own horse.
