When I step up, I am not just playing tracks, I am building a sonic experience. I bring my hybrid setup, including the Toraiz SP-16, to layer percussion and textures in real time. My goal is to ensure the sound system hits hard and the energy stays consistent from the first beat to the last.
I have brought my sound to venues like GYLT and Satellite Beachside, focusing on the specific acoustic requirements of every space. Whether it is a tight club booth or an open-air sunrise setup, the technical requirements stay the same: pristine, heavy sub-bass handling and a precise mixing environment. My hybrid sets incorporate hardware like the SP-16 to give me real-time control, allowing me to remix and reshape tracks on the fly.
I operate with a strict no-phone policy on the dance floor. This helps maintain the atmosphere, allowing the audience to engage directly with the energy we are building. For technical hosts, I provide detailed riders, including my preference for Pioneer CDJ 3000s and d&b audiotechnik or L Acoustics systems. This attention to gear ensures that the music I play hits exactly as intended.
