Swap screens for brushes and clay. Our Maker’s Space is a dedicated zone for kids to paint, print, and craft their own masterpieces—no mess at home, just pure, hands-on fun at Tugbug.

This is what pure, creative joy looks like. At Tugbug, I encourage kids to get their hands messy with paint and express themselves freely, because art is about the process, not just the result.

Designing their own tote bags. This DIY craft activity allows children to create something both personal and practical, which they can proudly use every day.

We offer fun DIY fashion projects like tie-dye and block printing on T-shirts. It’s a fantastic way for kids to wear their creativity and show off their unique style.

Crafting their own designer aprons. This activity is not only fun but also practical, as kids can use their creations for future art projects or even helping in the kitchen at home.

A young girl's face lights up with excitement as she uses a block stamp. This traditional Indian printing technique is a great way to introduce kids to patterns and design.

A group of children engrossed in a floor painting session. I provide large spaces and ample materials so that creativity isn't confined to a small canvas.

A parent and child work together on a block printing project. These shared creative moments are perfect for bonding and making lasting memories.

Our space is always buzzing with creative energy. Here, children are working on a large fabric painting, learning to collaborate and share a creative vision.

A young genius proudly shows off his custom-designed T-shirt. I love seeing kids combine their interests, like science and art, into one-of-a-kind creations.

Creating a set of hand-painted wooden coasters. This activity teaches precision and design, resulting in a beautiful and functional piece of art.

About The Maker's Space: Arts, Crafts & DIY

My Maker’s Space provides everything your child needs to create, from aprons to non-toxic paints and terracotta clay. The focus here is on the process—letting them experiment with block printing, tie-dye, or pottery—while my facilitators handle the setup and cleanup so you don't have to worry about the mess at home.

At Tugbug, I believe art is about the journey, not just the finished product. The Maker’s Space is designed to be a tactile, screen-free creative play area where children aged 2 and above can develop fine motor skills and confidence through DIY projects.

What Kids Actually Do Here

We go beyond coloring books. My studio is stocked with sustainable materials and tools for various crafts:

  • Fabric Art: Kids can design their own tote bags, T-shirts, or aprons using block printing and tie-dye techniques. It gives them a sense of pride to wear or use something they made themselves.
  • Clay & Pottery: We provide unlimited natural terracotta clay. Whether they are sculpting small figures or trying the wheel, it is a fantastic sensory activity.
  • DIY Keepsakes: From painting wooden coasters to crafting keyrings, these projects teach precision and design.

Why It Matters

This isn't just about keeping kids busy. Every activity in the Maker’s Space is chosen to boost concentration and social skills. When a group of kids works on a large floor painting or shares a clay station, they learn to collaborate and express themselves freely. For toddlers aged 2-3, these sessions are a beautiful opportunity for parent-child bonding, allowing you to participate in the creative process alongside your little one.

Practical Details

We understand that creativity can be messy. My team (we call them Didis) manages the materials, apron protection, and cleanup, so you can focus entirely on your child. We host hourly drop-in sessions and structured workshops, ensuring you have the flexibility to visit whenever it suits your routine.

I believe play is where kids really learn. At Tugbug, I’ve built a space where kids get to be makers—whether it’s tie-dying a shirt or shaping clay, we make sure they walk out with something they made themselves.
