About First Victories (Under-10 Future Stars)
We don't simply hand a full-sized racquet to a child and expect results. In our Under-10 foundation program, we use progressive balls (red, orange, and green) and mini-courts to help your child master grip, footwork, and swing mechanics. This approach builds a proper athletic base and keeps the game fun, avoiding the frustration that comes with using standard gear before they are physically ready.
How We Build Young Champions
Tennis at the early age of 5 to 10 is about more than just hitting a ball. It is about fostering a love for the sport while building the physical and mental discipline that lasts a lifetime. At Topshot, our coaches, including Abdul sir and the rest of our dedicated team, follow a structured progression for our Under-8 and Under-10 players.
The Progressive Learning Path
- Aptitude & Coordination: We prioritize hand-eye coordination drills before technique. This includes throwing, catching, and movement patterns that prepare the body for tennis-specific motions.
- Technical Basics: Kids work on grip correction and swing mechanics in small groups (approx 1:6 to 1:8 ratio). This ensures every child gets individual attention to prevent bad habits from forming.
- Match Readiness: We introduce tournament play through 'Rally' and 'Aptitude' categories. These formats allow children to experience competitive pressure, learn sportsmanship, and celebrate wins in a supportive environment.
Why Start Early?
Starting early allows children to develop 'court sense' naturally. Our programs in Indirapuram focus on long-term development rather than short-term glory. Whether your child dreams of the India jersey or just wants to stay active, our focus on fitness and footwork ensures they are sharp, injury-free, and ready for the next level. We train 3 to 4 times a week, ensuring consistency, which is the true driver of progress.
We don't just teach tennis; we build a family of athletes who know what it means to fight until the last ball.
