About Our Youngest Rising Stars (U6 - U12)
For our youngest players in the 5-9 age bracket, we maintain a strict 1:4 coach-to-student ratio. This ensures every child gets specific feedback on their grip and stance while using low-compression balls to build correct rally mechanics early on.
Building a Tennis Foundation
Tennis is a technical sport, and we believe the most important work happens in the earliest stages. We focus on developing the complete athlete rather than chasing immediate tournament rankings. For children aged 5 to 12, our curriculum prioritizes movement, court awareness, and physical coordination over heavy competition.
The Progression
- 5-8 Years (Foundation): The emphasis is on fun and motor skill development. We use specialized equipment, including red and orange felt balls and mini nets, to help children manage court space effectively.
- 8-10 Years (Skill Development): We sharpen technical strokes and introduce basic tactical play. Confidence grows through structured rallies and consistent practice.
- 9-13 Years (Competitive Preparation): For those ready to step up, we integrate match-play scenarios, AITA tournament planning, and mental conditioning to help players handle the pressure of competitive tennis.
Training Facilities and Approach
We train on well-maintained clay courts, which are ideal for junior development as they encourage longer rallies and sound footwork. Beyond the court, our sessions incorporate fitness drills tailored to a child's developmental stage. We monitor every player's progress using internal KPIs and regular assessments to ensure each child is moving at the right pace for their level. Whether playing at our Gurgaon centre or our school programs at Modern School, Barakhamba Road, the goal is to develop a lifelong connection to the sport.
