Festive Holiday Mini-Sessions

My holiday mini-sessions are different from my standard studio work. I see these as high-energy, creative bursts where we skip the long, drawn-out process and go straight for the festive magic.

Why mini-sessions work

Most parents worry about kids getting tired or bored. These sessions are short, sharp, and styled around a single, strong theme—think European White Christmas with soft lights, or my fan-favorite hot chocolate bath. Because the set is already built and the aesthetic is fixed, we get right into the action. It is perfect if you just want that one beautiful shot for your holiday cards or a quick family update without committing to a full-day production.

My festive process

When you book, I handle the props, the backdrop, and the mood. All you have to do is show up with your favorite holiday outfits—matching sweaters, pajamas, or whatever makes you feel like family. I keep the pace fast, playing festive tunes or whatever keeps the baby smiling to make sure we catch those genuine, giggly reactions rather than forced, stiff poses.

Practical tips for booking

• Timing: I typically announce these dates between late November and early December. They are limited-edition—once the slots are gone, they are gone.
• Outfits: Coordinated colors work best with my sets. Think red, green, beige, or white. Avoid heavy patterns that clash with the props.
• Flexibility: While these are shorter than my classic sessions, I still follow the child’s pace. If they need five minutes to settle in, we take it. I want the result to be a memory, not a chore.
