About Pajama Drama: Imaginative Play for Life Skills (Ages 3-6)
We don't use costumes, scripts, or memorized lines. Our sessions focus entirely on what your child brings to the room, using imaginative drama to teach problem-solving and emotional intelligence. If you want a class where your child is judged on their creativity rather than their ability to memorize a part, this is the right place for them.
We follow the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, which is a gold standard for early childhood development. This means every game, story, and movement we introduce has a clear purpose behind it—to help your child navigate social situations, build resilience, and develop a sense of self.
We hold classes in Vashi, Kharghar, Nerul, and across Navi Mumbai in partner preschools like FirstCry Intellitots and B.D. Somani International School. Because we work in small groups of 10 to 15 children, every child gets the space to express themselves without the pressure of a 'perfect' outcome.
Our method is straightforward: we set the stage with a theme, and the children lead the way. Whether they are pretending to be baby tigers or making imaginary popcorn with a parachute, they are learning how to listen to others, communicate their own ideas, and collaborate—all without ever feeling like they are 'performing.' It is messy, it is loud, and it is deeply effective.
Tiny Tribes
I started Tiny Tribes because I wanted a space where kids could be themselves, without any pressure to perform for an audience. I'm Shweta, and for over 13 years, I've watched children gain incredible confidence just by letting go and playing pretend with us.
