About Modern & Casual Maternity Styles
Many moms feel awkward in front of the camera, but for these casual sessions, I prioritize movement over rigid poses. We will use stools and simple backgrounds in my Annapurneshwari Nagar studio, which helps capture those natural, unscripted laughs rather than stiff, traditional studio portraits.
When you want maternity portraits that look like you in your everyday life, a modern, casual setup is the way to go. These sessions are perfect for moms who want to avoid the heavy traditional saree or elaborate gown aesthetic. We keep the focus entirely on you, your partner, and the excitement of your growing family.
Why a Casual Maternity Shoot?
- Comfort is Key: You are at your most comfortable in clothes you actually wear. If that is a blazer, your partner's denim shirt, or a simple summer dress, let us use that. It removes the stress of trying to fit into a costume that does not feel like you.
- The Sweet Spot: Like my other sessions, I recommend booking these between the 28th and 32nd week of pregnancy. You will have a defined bump but still enough energy to move around the studio for variety.
- Studio Flexibility: Located in Annapurneshwari Nagar, my studio is set up to handle these clean, modern looks with ease. We use textured walls, stools, and natural lighting to create a contemporary vibe that is timeless, not trendy.
How to Prepare
Do not worry about being a professional model. My job is to guide you through poses that are relaxed. We spend our time laughing, talking, and capturing the quiet connections. If you have a specific look in mind—like a specific pair of sneakers or a hat you love—bring it along. These small, personal items make your photos unique and memorable.
