We move away from heavy, dramatic props and instead use lighting and composition to create an aesthetic that is fresh and contemporary. These sessions are ideal for solo maternity portraits or couple shoots where you want to document your journey without the formality of heavy gown changes.
Preparing for Your Shoot
Because these shoots focus on a more 'lived-in' look, we encourage you to bring 2 or 3 outfits that make you feel comfortable. Whether that is a classic white shirt, comfortable denim, or your favorite soft dresses, we can style the background to match.
We typically schedule these sessions for 2.5 hours. This allows plenty of time for us to change the setup, adjust the lighting, and ensure you are comfortable throughout. We capture between 50 to 80 raw images, and we deliver 15 high-resolution, retouched photos that enhance your natural features without looking over-processed.
