Hands-on STEM Workshops & School Programs
We bring the tinkering lab directly to your school or community event. Real tools, real projects, and the messy magic of engineering, set up right where you are.
I was thrilled to join Yahoo India’s “Bring Your Kids to Work Day.” It was amazing to see nearly 60 curious minds get hands-on with our DIY kits and even participate in a parent-child tinkering session.
Here I am at Yahoo India, explaining the plan for our Art Bot workshop. It was a day filled with laughter, teamwork, and incredible creativity from both kids and parents.
A child at the Yahoo India event watches their newly built Art Bot create a colorful masterpiece. This is the moment of truth, where their hard work pays off in a fun, visual way.
A pair of electric cars built by kids during our workshop at Yahoo India. It's always impressive to see the different creative touches each child adds to their project.
A table at our Yahoo India workshop, covered in parts for our DIY electric car kits. This is the organized chaos where learning and creativity begin.
A close-up of a child connecting wires on their project at the Yahoo event. Their focus and determination are what make these events so rewarding.
We had a blast at Mallya Aditi International School, teaching kids how to build their own DIY Bluetooth speakers, cars, and more. It's always a pleasure to bring hands-on STEM learning into the classroom.
Ever seen cardboard turn into a working electric guitar? Our summer tinkerers at Canadian International School did just that, using Makey Makey to bring their creations to life.
At Canadian International School, our young innovators explored the world of hydraulics by building their very own maze game. The best way to learn a concept is to build it yourself.
A little guessing game from our Tinker Sesh at Canadian International School. Can you guess what we built with these syringes, motors, and cardboard?
About Special Events & School Programs
We bring the entire tinkering lab—hot glue guns, wire strippers, power drills, and raw components—directly to your school or corporate venue. Whether it is a 'Bring Your Kids to Work Day' with sixty participants or an in-class engineering module, we handle all the logistics and safety protocols so you get the full hands-on experience without the setup headache.
So fundamentally, how this works is simple: we do not believe in imitation plastic kits. When we set up at a location, we ensure every child has access to the exact tools we use at our permanent studio. We have conducted sessions at Yahoo India and various institutions like Canadian International School and Mallya Aditi International School, where kids transition from cardboard and motors to functional Bluetooth speakers or hydraulic mazes.
It is about demystifying technology. Instead of watching a theory video, they are stripping wires, testing circuits, and debugging their own creations. We maintain a low mentor-to-child ratio for safety, ensuring that every 'I made this' moment is earned through trial and error. Our curriculum scales, from one-off events for large groups to multi-day intensive camps that dive deep into 3D design and mechanical assembly. If you are looking to bring a program that actually builds skills rather than just filling time, we have the experience to facilitate it.
Tinkernauts
I am Rohan, and I believe a confident child is a safe child. My team and I take our tinkering setup on the road to show students that they are capable of building, fixing, and understanding the world around them using real equipment.
