Handmade Crochet Brooches and Pins

Adding a splash of colour to your saree or jacket is so simple. These handmade crochet pins are my favourite way to make any outfit look a bit more 'me'.

With crochet, you can make your own beautiful accessories. This video shows a matching floral brooch and hairpin set I designed, complete with little pearl details. It's a lovely way to add a handmade touch to any outfit.

For Independence Day, I designed this tri-color brooch. It's made by crocheting three simple circles in orange, white, and green and then attaching a safety pin to the back.

About Wearable Art: Brooches & Pins

My brooches are not just about looks. I always reinforce the back with a sturdy pin so they sit flat on your jacket or saree without drooping. If you want a specific colour match for a festive outfit, just send me a pic, and I will mix the yarn shades to match your ensemble perfectly.

Crochet accessories are like my own 'bhool bhulaiya' (maze), where I get lost in the stitches to create something really special. Whether it is a tri-colour pin for Independence Day or a delicate floral brooch with pearl accents, each piece is handmade with a lot of patience.

Why these work so well

  • Lightweight and durable: Unlike metal or heavy stone jewellery, these are super comfortable. You can wear them all day without your fabric sagging.
  • Fully customisable: Want a different flower type? Need a smaller size for a child? Or maybe you want a specific brooch set for a family event? I can adjust the pattern, size, and embellishments like pearls or beads to fit your vision.
  • Easy care: If they get dusty, a quick gentle wash and air dry keep them looking fresh. They are small but sturdy.

I love working on custom orders for gifting too. If you are planning a return gift for a baby shower or a small token for your office colleagues, these make for thoughtful, handmade surprises. Let me know what colour or theme you have in mind and we can start stitching.
