Festive Events and Creative Celebrations for Kids in Bengaluru

A montage of our Christmas party fun! From festive crafts to games and a special photo booth, we had a wonderful time celebrating the season together.
Our library's Christmas tree, made entirely out of books! It's a perfect symbol of our love for stories and the festive season.
Even our water dispenser got a festive friend! A handmade snowman adds a touch of holiday cheer to every corner of the library.

About this collection
Our festive events are hands-on experiences designed to get kids involved, not just observing. Whether we are stacking books to build a Christmas tree or honoring our learning tools during a traditional Aayudh Pooja, we ensure every celebration creates a lasting memory. We keep the groups small, usually 10 to 15 children, so everyone gets a chance to participate in the craft and storytelling.
For us at ThinkBox, festivals are the perfect bridge between traditional celebration and creative learning. Our Malleshpalya hub transforms with the seasons, but the core remains the same: it is all about connection. When we celebrate Christmas, we don't just put up a tree; we create one out of our own library books, showing the kids that stories are the foundation of our festivities.
Our festive calendar includes:
- Cultural Workshops: During Dussehra, we host events like Aayudh Pooja, where we gather with our members to express gratitude for the knowledge our books and tools provide. It is a quiet, meaningful moment that teaches kids to value their resources.
- Holiday Crafts: From making handmade snowmen to festive art sessions, these workshops focus on tactile skills. We provide all the materials, so children can focus on the process of making something unique to take home.
- Storytelling Feasts: We pair our regular interactive storytelling sessions with seasonal themes, helping children understand the traditions behind the festivals through imagination and empathy.
Because we cap our sessions at 15 children, we maintain a safe, comfortable environment. We focus on 'doing' rather than just 'watching,' ensuring every child leaves with a project they are proud of, whether it is a clay idol, a handmade greeting card, or a new perspective on a holiday. If you are looking for a space in Bengaluru where your child can celebrate festivals while making new friends, our doors are open.
ThinkBox
I started ThinkBox to be more than a quiet reading corner; it is a community space where every festival is an opportunity to learn and connect. When I see our members creating festive art together or honoring their books during Dussehra, I know we have built something special.
