In-School STEM Workshops and Maker Clubs
We bring hands-on engineering, real tools, and project-based STEM learning directly to schools across Bengaluru.
A typical scene from one of our workshops, with students gathered around a 3D printer, watching their digital designs become physical objects. We create an environment of shared discovery and excitement.
Here's a look at a recent session at Mallya Aditi International School. We started with concepts on the whiteboard and quickly moved to hands-on building, with students creating their own remote-controlled cars and more.
At Canadian International School, students built their own hydraulic mazes. This project is a fantastic way to demonstrate principles of fluid dynamics and pressure in a fun, interactive way.
Can you guess what the students at Canadian International School are building? We love starting our sessions with a bit of mystery, laying out the components and letting the kids predict the final project.
Our workshops are designed for active participation. Here, a student is fully engaged in assembling a project on the floor, showing the focus and dedication that hands-on tasks inspire.
The "Tinkernauts" sign in our workshop space is a beacon for curious minds. Students often gather here, full of questions and ideas, ready to dive into the next challenge.
A quick pop quiz during a session. We encourage an interactive learning environment where students can confidently share what they've learned about everything from engines to 3D printing.
About this collection
We maintain a 1:10 facilitator-to-student ratio during all in-school sessions. This isn't just for safety; it ensures every student gets real-time guidance when they are using soldering irons, drills, or glue guns to build their own projects.
We help schools in Bengaluru build a genuine maker culture. It starts by trading passive listening for active building. We work with teachers to fit our STEM programs into your existing curriculum, whether you need a one-off workshop or a term-long after-school club.
Our projects—like building Bluetooth speakers, hydraulic mazes, or assembling PCs—are not about achieving a perfect result on the first try. They are about the messy middle where kids learn to diagnose a failed circuit or fix a broken gear. We guide them, but we do not give them the answers. We let them struggle, troubleshoot, and eventually succeed.
Schools like Mallya Aditi and Stonehill already partner with us to bring this hands-on engineering to their classrooms. We provide the professional tools, the 3D-printed parts, and senior mentorship. Your students provide the curiosity.
Tinkernauts
We're Tinkernauts, and we believe the best way to learn physics or mechanics is by holding the tools in your hands. We partner with schools across Bengaluru to help students move past textbooks and start actually building and fixing the world around them.
