Bridge the gap between digital files and physical reality. Access 3D printers and laser cutters to build prototypes, custom parts, and art—no matter your skill level.

See our laser cutter in action, precisely etching and cutting custom designs from a large sheet of birch plywood. This tool is perfect for creating detailed kits, personalized gifts, and complex components for larger projects.

This laser-cut wooden object showcases the precision and complexity you can achieve with our digital fabrication tools. You can cut and engrave materials like birch ply, MDF, acrylic, cloth, and paper to create stunning, intricate designs.

From a spool of filament to a finished product. This video shows our 3D printer creating colorful, pixelated Pac-Man ghosts, demonstrating how you can produce custom merchandise, game pieces, or detailed models with ease.

A close-up of the complex circuitry and wiring for a robotics project being built at the workshop. Our space supports makers exploring electronics, robotics, and IoT, providing the tools and environment to experiment with new technologies.

Watch our custom-designed robots come to life. These laser-cut wooden bots, assembled with servos and sensors, show how you can combine woodworking, digital fabrication, and electronics to create interactive and kinetic projects.

About Future Forward: Digital Fabrication

You don't need to be a coding genius to get started here. Bring your design files in, and we'll help you get them ready for our laser cutters or 3D printers. Just a heads-up: while we provide the high-end machinery and space, you’ll need to handle your own file preparation and basic machine operation—though our community is usually around if you get stuck on a tricky layer setting or software export.

Your Lab, Your Rules

Our digital fabrication lab in Horamavu is built for people who want to move from screen to physical object. Whether you are a student testing a robotics frame, a designer cutting intricate acrylic shapes, or a hardware startup prototyping a product, we have the infrastructure to help you execute.

What’s Available

  • Laser Cutting: Large-format laser cutters suitable for wood, MDF, acrylic, and paper. Perfect for precision parts, kits, or custom signage.
  • 3D Printing: Access to modern filament printers. Great for rapid prototyping, replacement parts, or just printing that weird figurine you designed.
  • Electronics & Robotics: Workbench space equipped with power supplies and soldering tools, allowing you to integrate electronics into your fabrication projects.

How It Works

We aren't a factory that takes orders—we are a makerspace where you build your own stuff. You come in, plug in your laptop, slice your files, and operate the machines. It’s hands-on, it’s messy, and it’s real. If you are totally new to digital fab, we suggest booking a basic orientation session first to learn the safety protocols and software workflow.

Everything is shared, so come ready to collaborate or trade tips with other makers working on the next bench. Bring your materials, bring your ideas, and let’s get building.
