Metalworking & Welding Workshops in Bengaluru
Ready to play with fire? Whether you’re crafting industrial furniture or learning to tame steel, our metal zone in Horamavu has the MIG/Arc welders, grinders, and space to help you get your hands dirty.
A close-up view of the intense energy of welding. This video shows the bright flash and flying sparks as a welding torch melts metal, creating a strong, permanent bond. It's a glimpse into the transformative power of metalworking.
Metalworking is a vibe. This clip gives you a first-person view of using an angle grinder, followed by shots of a member welding. It captures the raw, hands-on nature of cutting, grinding, and joining metal to bring your designs to life.
The making of an Iron Man helmet from scratch. This video shows the entire process, from laser-cutting the templates to hammering the metal into shape on an anvil and welding the pieces together. It's a perfect example of combining different skills to create something amazing.
Practice makes perfect. A member wearing safety gloves and a workshop shirt carefully cleans a metal bar before welding. This attention to preparation is a key part of the process that we teach in our metalworking sessions.
A look inside our one-day metalworking experience. Participants learn to use grinders to shape metal and practice with an arc welder to join pieces together, creating everything from small sculptures to functional objects.
What do people make here? This video answers that question by showing members engaged in various activities, including grinding metal, welding, and showcasing finished products like a custom-shaped wooden chopping board.
About Level Up: Metalworking & Welding
This isn't a classroom where we hold your hand through every weld. We expect you to bring your own curiosity and energy. If you are new to the sparks and heavy machinery, book an introductory session first to clear your safety certification. Once that is done, the entire metalworking zone is open for you to build whatever you can imagine.
From Raw Metal to Finished Build
There is a specific kind of satisfaction in taking a raw steel bar and cutting, grinding, and welding it into something functional. At our Horamavu facility, we focus on the process. Whether you are trying to fix a broken chair, design custom metal art, or fabricate brackets for a prototype, we have the infrastructure to support you.
The Gear
Our metalworking zone is fully equipped for DIY projects. You will have access to:
- MIG and Arc welding stations
- High-speed angle grinders and cutoff saws
- Heavy-duty workbenches with vices
How It Works
Safety is the only non-negotiable part of our vibe. Because we have heavy machinery, you need to demonstrate basic tool safety before you can access the metal shop independently.
If you have never held a torch or a grinder, start with one of our 'Weekend Warrior' passes. This gives you a guided entry point. If you are planning a longer project, like a furniture piece or a custom frame, the 'Serious Builder' pack lets you store your unfinished work on-site so you don’t have to pack up every time you leave.
Why Build Here?
This isn't a sterile training center. It is a shared space. You will be working alongside designers, architects, and hobbyists. The real magic happens when you get stuck on a weld and turn to your neighbor for advice. That community knowledge is part of the deal. Bring your project, follow the safety rules, and start making.
The Workshop
We’re The Workshop, and we built this place because we believe making things shouldn't be reserved for pros. We are just here to give you the tools, the safety gear, and the space to turn raw metal into something real.
Looking for a different kind of craft?
We have plenty of other ways for you to get your hands dirty.
