Meet the Team Behind the Weekend Crew
We're Raghu and Meg, and we're here to make your weekends count. From kickboxing pads to rocky trails, this is who we are and why we started.
A quick intro from me, Raghu. My background is in kickboxing, but my passion is creating holistic, active spaces for people to enjoy. That's the energy I bring to every trek.
This is me and Meg, the team behind the Weekend Crew. We also host "Weekend Kicks," combining kickboxing and strength training for a different kind of weekend workout.
We love bringing people together for fun fitness activities. Whether it's a trek or a kickboxing session, our goal is to build a strong, active community.
The two of us on a windy day at the top. We lead every trek personally to ensure everyone is safe and having the best possible experience.
About this collection
We didn't want another gym that felt like a chore, so we built a space that feels like hanging out with friends. Raghu brings the kickboxing discipline from his years training in Canada, while Meg balances it with strength conditioning, meaning you get a proper, sweaty workout without the intimidating gym vibe.
The Crew Philosophy
When we started The Weekend Crew, our goal was simple. We were bored of the standard weekend drill of just sitting in bars. We wanted to move, breathe fresh air, and actually meet people. That is why our sessions are designed to be accessible to everyone, from complete beginners who have never thrown a punch to folks looking for a consistent workout routine.
Meet Your Coaches
Raghu: With over 11 years in the game, my roots are deep in kickboxing. I spent years fighting and teaching in Canada, which taught me that the sport is less about ego and more about the journey. My style is about keeping it real, breaking down techniques until they make sense, and making sure you leave the mat feeling better than when you walked in.
Meg: As a certified Strength and Conditioning coach, Meg brings the technical structure that keeps our sessions safe and effective. While I might focus on the punch, she ensures your body is conditioned to handle the movement. Together, we make sure that whether we are on a sunrise trek near Antaragange or in the studio, the focus remains on community and shared growth.
Why You'll Fit In
There is no expert-only zone here. We have had people of all ages and fitness levels join our treks and classes. We keep the groups mixed, the atmosphere supportive, and the post-workout pizza optional but highly recommended. If you are tired of the city noise and want to join a group that actually cares about your progress, you are in the right place.
The Works
Hi, I'm Raghu and this is Meg. We’re just two people who got bored of standard weekend routines and decided to start our own community instead. Whether we're leading a trek or teaching a class, our goal is to help you move, sweat, and actually enjoy your Saturday.
