Candid Moments from Our Weekend Treks
It’s not a race to the top. It’s just us, the fresh air, and a few good laughs along the way. See what Sunday mornings with the crew look like.
A montage of the best moments: sharing snacks, making new furry friends, and just chilling out together on the trail. This is the heart of our community.
That post trek glow. Just me, Raghu, enjoying the fresh air and good vibes after a great morning on the hills.
Our most adventurous trekker taking a break. Having pets along for the journey adds an extra layer of fun and happiness.
We make friends wherever we go. Taking a moment to give some love to a friendly local dog we met on the trail.
That feeling when you reach a viewpoint and just need a second to take it all in. The views are always worth the climb.
A trekker taking a well deserved break, smiling as he looks out over the landscape. These are the peaceful, rewarding moments.
A happy trekker enjoying the view from the top. The sense of accomplishment and the beautiful scenery make for a perfect combination.
About this collection
Our treks are designed as 'easy movement' sessions, perfect if you want to get active without the pressure of a hardcore climb. We start early—usually around 5:30 AM—to beat the heat and catch the sunrise, finishing by late morning so you still have your Sunday afternoon. Don’t worry about being a pro; we’re just here for the trails, the community, and the snacks at the end.
We started The Weekend Crew because we were bored of the usual city weekend routines. These treks are about ditching the phone and actually connecting with people.
We hit spots like Antaragange and Kaiwara Betta for a proper Bangalore sunrise. Expect rocky trails, cool cave formations, and paths that get your heart rate up without burning you out.
We keep it chill. It’s a no-ego zone—whether you’re a fitness junkie or haven’t hiked in years, you’ll fit right in. We’ve even got a spot for pets if they’re up for the climb.
Logistically, it is a self-drive setup. We meet at the base (60-80km from Bangalore) early Sunday morning for a mobility warm-up led by us, then head up together. We wrap up with local snacks—think hot bhajjis and fresh fruit—before heading back to the city. If you’re looking for a group that feels more like a family, you’re in the right place.
The Works
Raghu here. Meg and I started this because we wanted a community that didn't revolve around nightlife. We’re just a bunch of folks hitting trails, eating snacks, and making sure nobody feels left out.
