About this collection
We keep these treks beginner-friendly, so don't worry about being a pro hiker. We focus on easy movement, mostly rocky paths and fun cave crawls near Antaragange or Kaiwara Betta, that gets your heart rate up without burning you out. Since it is a self-drive setup, just pack comfy shoes, bring your dog if you want, and show up at the base by 6:00 AM for the climb and post-trek snacks.
Whether you are escaping the Bangalore traffic or just bored of the usual Sunday routine, our treks are built for the crew. We are not here to race to the summit. We are here to climb rocky inclines, crawl through cave formations, and actually talk to each other.
What to expect
- Movement that feels good: We start with guided mobility warm-ups to prep your joints. The trail itself is a mix of natural rock steps and dirt paths. It is a solid workout for your legs, but we take it slow enough to soak in the views.
- Community first: No ego allowed. Whether you are a seasoned trekker or this is your first time walking on something other than concrete, you will find your pace with us. We have even had dogs and cats join the group.
- The logistics: We pick locations like Antaragange and Kaiwara Betta to catch the sunrise. Since it is a self-drive trip, you will need to coordinate your own commute to the base, which is usually 60 to 80km from the city. Once we are done, we refuel with hot bhajjis and chai before heading back.
If you have been looking for a group that balances fitness with an actual social life, just bring yourself and your shoes. Aarambikkalaangala?
The Works
I am Raghu, and I started this with Meg because we got tired of the same old weekend loop. We wanted to build a crew that sweats together, eats pizza together, and actually enjoys the outdoors without making it a competition.
