Authentic Cultural Wedding Photography
Every culture brings its own rhythm, colors, and joy to a wedding. I love capturing these unique traditions—from Tamil rituals to Christian ceremonies—and finding the quiet, real moments amidst the celebration.

About Celebrating Diverse Cultures
Shooting across cultures means being present for rituals you might not be familiar with, and that is exactly where the beauty lies. I do not just point my camera at the customs. I watch for the meaning behind the Nauvari saree drape or the specific joy of a Tamil garland exchange. My goal is to capture the essence of your tradition so clearly that you feel the emotion all over again when you look back, regardless of whether it is a Tamil ceremony or a Two-States celebration.
When you have a 'Two-States' wedding or a mix of cultural traditions, the day often moves faster than usual. There is a lot to juggle, and you need a photographer who can read the room.
My approach is to respect the sanctity of the rituals while staying alert for the candid moments that happen on the periphery. Whether it is the quiet, nervous energy before a Christian ceremony or the high-decibel fun of a Tamil wedding, I focus on the 'why' of the moment rather than just the 'what'.
I believe that cultural photography shouldn't feel like a museum catalog. It should feel lived-in and real.
What I focus on for diverse ceremonies:
- Ritual Flow: I prioritize learning the sequence of your specific ceremony beforehand so I am always in the right spot for the key moments, like the mangalsutra tying or the exchange of vows, without ever getting in the way.
- Cultural Details: From the specific jewellery a bride chooses for her Maharashtrian wedding to the decor elements in a Christian reception, I capture the details that represent your heritage.
- Family Dynamics: Cultural weddings are often where different family branches meet for the first time. I look for those spontaneous interactions between elders and kids that tell the real story of the day.
I shoot primarily in Mumbai and Pune, but I frequently travel across India to document diverse weddings. If you are planning a ceremony that blends different traditions, I would love to hear how you are making it your own.
