Celebrating Diverse Wedding Traditions Through My Lens
Every culture has a unique rhythm and beauty. I specialize in documenting the rituals of Christian, Bengali, Buddhist, and South Indian weddings with an authentic approach.

About Celebrating Diverse Traditions
I don't rely on a script because every tradition has its own energy. Whether it is the quiet blessing of a monk at a Buddhist wedding or the specific timing of the sindoor daan in a Bengali ceremony, I know exactly where to stand to capture the moment without interrupting the sanctity of your rituals.
Every culture brings a distinct flow to a wedding day. Over the years, I have documented a wide range of traditions across Mumbai, Thane, and Pune, learning that the best photos happen when I understand the weight and meaning of the ceremonies I am covering.
Capturing Your Specific Traditions
When I am at a South Indian wedding, I look for the fleeting tears of joy during the kanyadaan. At Bengali weddings, I am focused on the shubho drishti and the elaborate headgear, ensuring the traditional styling looks sharp and elegant. For Christian ceremonies, my lens is trained on the aisle walk and the emotional exchange of vows. I study the rituals beforehand so I am never just a spectator; I am a participant with a camera.
My Approach to Cultural Ceremonies
I use a three-member team to ensure we don't miss a thing. My lead photographer handles the candid emotional shifts, while a second shooter focuses on the wider traditional rituals and group shots. This setup allows me to move freely, capturing the spontaneous laughter and the tearful goodbyes that make your album feel real.
Technical Details
Whether it is a grand ballroom event or an intimate home ritual, I work with professional Nikon gear and Godox lighting to keep colors warm and authentic. My goal is simple: you should be able to look at these photos years from now and feel exactly what you felt in that moment. I keep my editing natural, focusing on skin tones and the warmth of the ambient light rather than heavy filters.
