**A Profound Piano Player.** We are so proud of the achievements of our student Mihira Viswanathan, who plays a moving rendition of "Teri Mitti." She undoubtedly has a great musical future ahead of her.
**A Certified Pianist's Tribute.** Watch our 10-year-old student Krishang Parmar, a certified pianist from Trinity College London, perform the National Anthem in style. His passion and dedication are an inspiration.
**Unstoppable Passion.** Even a leg injury could not stop our student Advik Gupta from paying his tribute to the nation. The zest with which he plays his piano is truly commendable and inspiring.
**A Clear and Concise Style.** Keyvan Khanna demonstrates a clear and concise style as he plays our National Anthem on the piano. This talented student has a great head start towards nuanced piano playing.
**A Journey of Excellence.** See our student Ridhi perform the National Anthem with panache. We congratulate her wonderful parents for letting their child embark upon a journey of excellence with us.
About this collection
Learning a piece like the National Anthem is not just about nailing the keys, it is about the feeling behind them. When our students prepare for Independence or Republic Day, they learn how to bring genuine expression into their playing. We teach them that every note has a story, and when they perform for their families or online, they are doing more than reciting music—they are expressing their love for our country.
Music is a language, and for us, it is a way to connect with our identity. Many students come to us wanting to play songs that resonate with their family traditions or national pride, like Teri Mitti or our National Anthem.
Why Expression Matters
Playing a fast pop song is one thing, but playing a melody that requires gravity and respect—like our National Anthem—forces a student to pay attention to articulation, touch, and sustain. We show students how to use the sustain pedal to create a lush, full sound for a solemn anthem, and how to keep it crisp and bright for a celebration.
Our Process
Even when working on cultural pieces, we integrate the technical lessons from the Trinity College London syllabus. We ensure their finger placement is correct and their rhythm is steady. We do not just hand out sheet music; we work on the phrasing and the intent behind the song.
The Community Vibe
Our students share these performances in our online showcases. It is a moment of pure joy, seeing parents beaming and grandmothers sharing their pride. Whether you are 3 or 53, if you want to play music that touches the heart, you are in the right place. Join us, and let us help you find your rhythm.
The Performers' Club
We are The Performers' Club, and we have spent the last eight years building a community where music is a way of life. We believe every student is a performer in the making, and we are just here to help them find their spotlight.
