Training isn't about dominance or making your dog a robot. It’s about building a language of trust that allows you and your dog to navigate the world together as a team.

My mission is to educate and help pet parents across the globe, building a community focused on understanding our dogs, not dominating them.

Over my 12-year career, I have had the privilege of working with over 50 different breeds, and my core belief remains the same: every dog deserves to be treated with kindness and respect.

I am a strong advocate for reward-based training. This isn't about "bribing" your dog; it's about motivating them and making learning a positive, joyful experience that strengthens your bond.

What does it mean to "build a relationship" with your dog? It means becoming their safe space and their greatest source of joy, so they willingly choose you over distractions.

This is what reward-based training actually looks like. It's not always dramatic, but it is kind, patient, and incredibly effective for all dogs, including those with aggression issues.

I put myself on social media so that people looking for a kind, punishment-free way to train their dogs can find me. I want to be a safe space for pet parents who have been told their dog is "stubborn" or that they need a heavier hand.

One of my key resolutions for every pet parent: learn to understand your dog's body language. They are communicating with us all the time.

I've put together five New Year's resolutions to help you build an even stronger, happier relationship with your dog in the coming year.

Resolution #1: Get goofy and play more! Play is one of the most powerful tools for building your bond and reducing stress for both of you.

Resolution #2: Get outdoors more often. Decompression walks in nature are incredibly beneficial for a dog's mental well-being, especially for those living in urban environments.

About Trust, Not Control: My Training Philosophy

If you are still using a choke chain or prong collar because you were told it’s the only way to get results, I want you to know there is a better path. My work starts with removing any equipment that causes pain. We replace discomfort with anatomical Y-harnesses, turning walks into a shared experience rather than a battle of wills.
