Luxurious Bathroom Retreats and Spa-Inspired Designs
I believe your daily routine deserves a backdrop of elegance. From dramatic marble to smart, integrated storage, I design bathrooms that function perfectly and feel like a private sanctuary.
This bathroom is a study in dark, moody luxury. We used floor-to-ceiling black marble with dramatic white veining, a backlit circular mirror, and warm wood accents to create a sophisticated and intimate retreat.
A truly unique bathroom design featuring dramatic, richly-veined marble and a custom-designed, free-form backlit mirror. The wall-mounted grey toilet and glass partition add to the modern, spacious feel.
This elegant bathroom combines textured marble walls with statement double-ring mirrors and warm, woven-front cabinetry. The design feels both opulent and earthy, creating a unique, spa-like atmosphere.
Bold and artistic, this powder room features striking black-and-white patterned marble and geometric floor tiles. The unique light fixture and fluted pedestal sink make it a memorable design statement.
This powder room showcases the beauty of black marble. The backlit niches provide soft, ambient lighting, highlighting the decor and creating a warm, inviting glow against the dark, luxurious stone.
A beautiful example of a functional and aesthetic washroom. The combination of green walls, wood-textured tiles in a herringbone pattern, and a simple round mirror creates a fresh and modern look.
We love mixing materials for a dynamic look. This bathroom features bold blue herringbone tiles in the shower, contrasted with a white marble wall and hexagonal floor tiles for a truly unique design.
Our powder washroom designs transform everyday routines into moments of luxury. This space features dramatic marble, a unique pedestal sink, and geometric floor tiles for a bold statement.
A closer look at the material contrast in this powder room. The organic pattern of the marble wall is balanced by the clean lines of the modern toilet and the warmth of the small plant.
The gold-framed mirror and unique pedestal sink are the heroes of this powder room. These elements, combined with the striking marble and flooring, create a space that is full of character.
About Luxurious Bathroom Retreats
When I design a bathroom, I start with the flow of the wet area. It is not just about the slab of marble, it is about where the water hits, how the lighting falls on your face at the mirror, and where your daily essentials sit without cluttering the counter. We use waterproof, high-grade marine plywood for vanity carcasses to ensure that the beauty we build today stays intact through years of Mumbai humidity.
Creating Your Private Sanctuary
A bathroom is the most intimate space in your home. It is where you start your day and where you wind down. My approach to bathroom design in Mumbai goes beyond aesthetics, it addresses the realities of space and long-term maintenance.
The Material Palette
I am known for using dramatic, large-format materials that minimize grout lines, making even compact bathrooms feel expansive. Whether it is rich, veined Italian marble or high-performance GVT tiles, the choice of material dictates the mood. For a moody, sophisticated vibe, I lean toward dark, textured stone. For a spa-like retreat, I prefer lighter, warmer palettes.
Lighting and Perception
Lighting is the secret weapon in bathroom design. I move away from generic overhead lights, opting instead for layered lighting. Think backlit mirrors that frame your reflection without casting harsh shadows, and ambient niche lighting that highlights your decor. This creates depth and a calming atmosphere, which is essential for your morning routine.
Practicality Meets Luxury
Luxury without function is short-lived. I insist on using Hettich or Ebco hardware for vanity drawers and cabinets, ensuring everything moves smoothly. I also pay close attention to the wet zone separation, using glass partitions to keep the dry area pristine. In our humid Mumbai climate, I prioritize marine-grade plywood and anti-fungal finishes, so your bathroom remains as beautiful years later as it was on the day of the reveal.
