We create living and dining spaces that feel spacious, organized, and uniquely yours. We specialize in smart layouts, custom furniture, and Japandi-inspired aesthetics for Mumbai apartments.

A beautiful example of Japandi design, where a hand-painted cherry blossom mural becomes the soul of the room. The natural wood furniture and soft textiles create an atmosphere of pure tranquility.

This transitional living and dining space blends modern furniture with traditional warmth. The marble-top dining table and plush pink chairs sit beautifully against a backdrop of rich wood paneling.

A walkthrough of a home that balances quiet luxury with personal touches. Notice the geometric door, the cozy reading nook with a sitar, and the elegant display shelves that tell the client's story.

This multifunctional TV unit in powder blue is a perfect solution for compact living rooms. It combines open shelving for decor, a bar unit with fluted glass, and an arched mirror feature, all in one cohesive design.

A closer look at the Japandi-inspired living area, showing the harmony between the custom wall mural, the simple wooden sofa, and the pop of color from the teal-framed doors.

This bright and airy living room uses soft pastel hues and warm wood tones to create a soothing ambiance. The wall-mounted folding dining table is a key feature for space optimization.

The same living room at night, where integrated lighting in the crockery unit adds a warm glow, highlighting the fluted glass and creating a cozy atmosphere.

We seamlessly integrated a modern TV unit with a traditional wooden temple (mandir). The powder blue textured panel behind the TV contrasts beautifully with the carved wooden pillars of the pooja space.

A blush pink sofa paired with a rattan nesting table creates a soft and inviting corner. The wall art, made of hand-painted tiles, adds a touch of elegance without overwhelming the space.

We believe home is a feeling of belonging. This cozy living room corner, with its plush sofa and warm lighting, is designed to be a comfortable and personal sanctuary.

About Living & Dining Rooms: The Heart of the Home

In Mumbai apartments, the living and dining area often has to do double duty. We do not believe in just adding furniture; we look for ways to make the floor plan breathe. Whether it is integrating a prayer unit into the TV console or using a custom folding dining table to save floor space, we focus on designs that solve your specific storage needs without cluttering your sightlines.

Designing a living and dining area in a city like Mumbai requires balancing aesthetics with strict space constraints. We often start by looking at the natural light available and identifying the flow of movement. Our approach relies on modularity. For instance, in our recent projects, we have integrated prayer units directly into TV consoles using powder blue MDF panels and fluted glass to maintain a clean look.

When it comes to dining, we advocate for multi-functional pieces. A folding table or a custom bench with built-in storage can replace a bulky traditional set, freeing up space for entertaining. We also rely on textures to add depth, using lime wash stucco on feature walls or incorporating cane details in wardrobes and cabinets. This helps in achieving that calm, Japandi-inspired aesthetic without the room feeling cold or empty.

We manage the entire process from construction and electrical re-routing to final styling. We prefer BWP Marine Ply for longevity and select finishes that are easy to maintain, such as matte PU paints or textured laminates. Whether you are aiming for a minimalist sanctuary or a space filled with personal art, our goal is to ensure the design feels lived-in and comfortable, not just like a showroom display.
