About this collection
We handle the technical bits like grouting and final sealing, so you can focus entirely on the design. You just pick your base—maybe a wooden tray or a mirror—arrange your glass tiles, and glue them down. Once you are done, we finish the project for you, ensuring you take home a durable, polished piece of art that lasts.
Mosaic is one of our most loved activities at The Firefly Terrace because it is tactile, colorful, and surprisingly meditative. You don't need to be an artist to make something that looks like it belongs in a home decor store.
What the session looks like:
- Pick Your Base: Choose from our range of 8x8 to 10x12 inch MDF shapes, including trays, mirrors, and monograms. We also have fun shapes like unicorns, hot air balloons, and turtles for younger creators.
- Design & Glue: Spend your time picking from a huge palette of colored glass tiles and mirror pieces. It is essentially a puzzle where you get to decide how the pieces fit.
- The Technical Stuff: Grouting can be messy and tricky to get right, so we step in here. Our team assists with the grouting process to give your piece a professional, smooth finish. We also apply a protective sealer or varnish so your work is ready to display or gift immediately.
