Destination Wedding Planning in Lake Como
Turning a dream destination into a reality requires seamless global coordination. We planned this multi-faith celebration in Lake Como, blending Italian elegance with traditional Indian ceremonies.
A breathtaking view of the Pheras ceremony we designed on the shores of Lake Como. The floral mandap was intentionally kept low and open to ensure the majestic lake and mountains remained the true backdrop to this unforgettable union.
For the Sangeet at Villa Geno, we created a festive Indian bazaar atmosphere. Guests explored stalls, enjoyed hookah lounges, and danced under hanging clouds of flowers, all while soaking in the golden hour sunset over Lake Como.
The reception at Villa Erba was designed to complement its classical artistry. We used a rich, warm color palette for the florals and table settings, enhancing the room's painted walls and creating an atmosphere of opulent, timeless romance.
The first dance in a grand Italian ballroom. We kept the decor minimal and the lighting soft, ensuring all eyes were on the couple as they shared this intimate moment, with the world fading into the background.
This wedding beautifully blended two faiths. We designed a day that seamlessly transitioned from an intimate Nikkah to a joyous Pheras ceremony, all while honoring the sanctity of each ritual against the stunning Lake Como scenery.

Designing a wedding across continents involves more than just aesthetics. We coordinated with Milan-based planners and Florentine florists while managing remote communication with the couple. It is about aligning Italian logistical standards with the specific ritual requirements of a multi-faith celebration, ensuring the flow feels natural rather than forced.
When we took on the challenge of a wedding in Lake Como, the venue—a historic 13th-century villa—was as daunting as it was beautiful. Our priority was to honor the couple's dual-faith background, blending a Nikkah with a Phera ceremony without compromising the integrity of either.
Logistics for a destination wedding of this scale require extreme precision. We worked with Milanese production teams, Florentine floral artists, and Italian caterers to replicate the flavors and vibrant spirit of an Indian wedding within a European context. We spent weeks testing decor elements and layouts, often bridging the gap between local vendors and the couple's vision through translators and late-night calls.
The visual strategy focused on soft, intentional design. In the reception hall, we allowed the classical Italian architecture to stand as the primary decor, using warm floral runners to complement the existing paintings rather than mask them. For the outdoor ceremonies, we kept the mandap structure low and open, ensuring the lake served as the backdrop. This project proved that geography is not a barrier to a wedding that feels deeply personal.
