Destination Weddings That Let The Location Shine
We don't just plant a mandap and call it a day. Whether it's a castle in Lake Como or a quiet beach in Goa, I design events that hold a conversation with the landscape instead of blocking it.
For this wedding at Villa del Balbianello in Lake Como, we let the stunning venue speak for itself. We tucked in pockets of dainty pastel and tangerine flowers between the furniture to add a visual treat without overpowering the natural beauty.
A reception at a majestic castle, where we designed the decor to complement the grandeur of the architecture. The pastel hues and soft lighting created a romantic, storybook atmosphere.
An ivory sundowner wedding in Goa, where the artistic, wave-like mandap backdrop was designed to echo the sea behind it. This is what we mean by designing with the destination in mind.
A quick recap of a 3-day, 5-event wedding we designed in Lake Como, Italy. This video is a visual treat, showcasing the beauty of the location and the variety of our decor.

We love creating interactive experiences for guests. At this destination wedding in Lake Como, we hosted a DIY pizza party with customized chef caps and aprons, turning a meal into a fun, memorable activity.

About Destination & Scenic Weddings
When we worked at Villa del Balbianello, I refused to block the view with heavy structures. We kept the layout open, adding small, fragrance-rich floral pockets that played with the lake breeze instead of fighting it. It wasn't about imposing a theme, but about letting the lake be the star of the show.
Destination weddings are not just about picking a pretty spot and filling it with flowers. They are logistically heavy, weather-dependent, and physically demanding. When I take a project from the shores of Italy to the sands of Goa, my focus is on integration.
I treat the venue as a co-designer. If the location is grand, I go minimal. If it is raw, I add texture. This means my team and I spend hours studying site plans, understanding sun paths for sundowners, and figuring out how to get custom linens or structural art pieces to remote locations without compromising on quality.
I have spent nights arguing with carpenters and local vendors to make sure a 20-foot structure does not look like a sore thumb against a mountain backdrop. I do not believe in cookie-cutter destination packages. Every scenic wedding requires a new approach because no two locations behave the same way. Whether it is a DIY pizza party to break the ice or a complex mandap design that needs to survive a coastal wind, my goal is to build an environment that feels like it belongs to the land, not something that was dropped there by a planner who did not visit the site.
