About Heels Dance Classes: Own Your Power
Walking into a heels class isn't just about throwing on footwear and copying steps. We start by focusing on your balance and core engagement, because your ankles need to hold you up before they can carry a routine. Whether you are prepping for a stage performance or just looking to add some flair to your movement, we make sure you learn the mechanics of weight distribution first so you can dance safely and look sharp.
Our heels workshops focus on more than just the aesthetic. We treat heels as an extension of your body, which means we spend time on the basics of posture and lines before we get into the high-paced choreography. In these 60 to 90-minute sessions, we prioritize safe movement practices to prevent injury while keeping the energy high.

I’m Ashley Lobo, and I started The Danceworx to give dancers a real space to grow, whether you are in Mumbai, Delhi, or Pune. We don’t believe in shortcuts, so expect to work on your technique even in our heels workshops. My goal is to see you perform with genuine confidence, not just imitation.
