Why I Do What I Do
I really believe anybody can dance. Whether you’re five or fifty, if you’ve got two left feet or you’re already grooving, my classes are all about helping you discover your own style. Been doing this for 25 years, and trust me, people surprise themselves all the time.
How I Teach
My thing is - strong basics make everything else easier. Fancy moves look good only if your technique is tight. So I don’t just show steps for you to copy. I help you build a real dance technique foundation, so you’re not just following along, you’re actually dancing.
Who Can Join
Kids (5-16) and adults, everyone’s welcome. We’ve got regular batches, summer camps, and online options. For the little ones, dance isn’t just about movement - it’s about confidence, creativity, and personality. Our kids’ program (made by Ashley Lobo) follows an international curriculum, and those certificates can go a long way, even for university stuff later.
Adults - if you want fun dance classes for beginners, or you’re just looking for a break from regular life, come join in. Our community is pretty chill. We do weekend dance intensives too, if you want a quick burst of learning and fun.
What You’ll Learn
Ballet, jazz, contemporary dance lessons for kids (and adults too), jazz funk, and heels. Choose in-person at our studios (Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Pune), or join online batches. Spots are limited, so everyone gets attention.

My Story
Ashley here, Artistic Director at The Danceworx. Been at it for 25+ years, building a dance space in India that’s got real international vibes. Saw loads of raw talent, but it needed proper training, not just flashy steps. So yeah, 'Foundation builds fancy' is our thing. I cooked up Prana Paint™ – it’s about breath, touch, moving real, not fake. Our dancers? They’re killing it abroad, from Germany to Jerusalem. Watching our crew perform worldwide, that’s the real win for us.
