A wedding isn't just about the couple on the stage. It is the sum of thousands of tiny, fleeting interactions that often go unnoticed in the rush. Whether it is the rhythmic ringing of bells during a Maharashtrian ceremony or the unfiltered pride on a father's face as he watches the Varmala, these are the snapshots that reveal the actual heartbeat of your celebration.
I believe that the best stories are found in the margins, not just in the planned, formal poses. When I am shooting, I am constantly scanning the room for those blink-and-miss moments. It might be a quick glance between bridesmaids as they walk down a staircase at the St. Regis, or a burst of laughter during a chaotic family moment.
My approach is to blend into the background. I do not want to direct you; I want to document you. This means you will see me moving around with a small team, looking for the light and the reaction, rather than setting up artificial scenarios.
I have spent 13 years refining this documentary style. From Maharashtrian and Konkani traditions to grand, high-energy Punjabi weddings, I have learned that every culture has its own set of 'core memories' waiting to be captured. My goal is to ensure that when you look back at your album in ten years, you do not just see what you wore, but you remember exactly how you felt, who was holding your hand, and why everyone was laughing.
