Timeless Black & White Wedding Photography
Sometimes, color gets in the way of the story. I love stripping everything back to monochrome to let the raw emotion, the quiet glances, and the pure energy of your day take center stage.
This is why I love black and white. It strips away everything but the pure, joyful connection between two people.

About Black & White Magic
I don't just put a filter on photos. I intentionally choose moments where the composition and connection are strong enough to stand alone without color. If you see a black and white shot in your gallery, it is because that specific emotion felt too powerful to be distracted by anything else.
When you think of an Indian wedding, you think of bright marigolds, heavy bridal jewelry, and vibrant decor. These are beautiful, but they can sometimes overwhelm the actual people in the frame. My approach to black and white photography is about finding the calm in that chaos.
Why Monochrome Works
I use monochrome when I want the focus to be entirely on you. It is perfect for those stolen glances during the pheras, a father’s proud smile from across the room, or the frantic, joyful energy of a cocktail party dance floor. By removing color, we stop looking at the lehenga or the venue and start looking at the eyes, the hands, and the laughter.
It’s All About the Light
Black and white forces me to pay closer attention to light, shadow, and texture. Whether we are at a sprawling palace in Udaipur or a private home in Mumbai, the way light hits a face matters more than the color of the background. I love how a high-contrast B&W edit can turn a candid moment into something that feels like a still from a classic film. It gives the image a weight and a permanence that color sometimes lacks.
Where I Use It
I don’t apply this to every image. I save it for moments that feel timeless—the ones that, ten years from now, will still make you feel exactly the way you felt on the day. From the solemn, quiet rituals to the wild, messy party shots, monochrome adds a layer of depth that keeps the story focused on what really matters: your connection.
