If you notice your helix or upper ear piercing is swelling, keep calm. It is often just an accumulation of oil or hair products. Simply remove the stud, clean both sides thoroughly with Dettol, and wear a lightweight hanging earring for a few days to let the skin breathe. It usually resolves the issue within a week.

A piercing is a small wound, and treating it correctly in the first few weeks is non-negotiable. Whether you are getting a standard lobe piercing or a stylish helix, following a simple routine prevents infection and keeps the process painless. At our store, we don't just finish the job and send you away; we make sure you know exactly what to do when you get home.
Our Safety Protocol
We exclusively use the USA-made Studex system for all our clients. We open every sealed cartridge right in front of you so you know the equipment is sterile and single-use. Hygiene is our primary focus, whether it is for an adult or a child.
Managing Sensitive Piercings
Upper ear or helix piercings are more sensitive than earlobes and require extra patience. They can take up to two months to heal completely. If you feel any irritation or swelling, do not ignore it. - Keep the area dry, especially after a hair wash.
- Avoid strong soaps or chemicals near the piercing site.
