This was one of my most challenging and rewarding projects: a large, custom varmala preservation frame. It holds four photos, a wedding monogram, and flowers from the ceremony, all set in resin within a beautiful teakwood frame.

To represent the groom's Bihari heritage in the custom wedding frame, I incorporated the sacred Om symbol and elements from the Haldi ceremony bangles, weaving his traditions into their shared story.
About Wedding Varmala & Bouquet Frames
I don't just pour resin over your flowers. Every piece begins with professional dehydration using silica sand, a process that retains 80 to 90 percent of the original color and shape. Because I work directly from my home studio, I handle every step personally. This means I meticulously place each petal, layer the resin, and polish the edges by hand to ensure your keepsakes look beautiful for years, rather than treating them like mass-produced goods.
How We Preserve Your Story
When you trust me with your wedding flowers, you aren't just buying a frame. You are preserving a specific moment, whether it is the vibrant red of a rose from your bouquet or the delicate pearls from your varmala.
The Frame Matters I offer options in both light pinewood and premium dark teakwood. These aren't just containers; they are chosen to complement the natural tones of preserved blooms. Whether you need a compact 8-inch square for a desk or a heavy 16-inch wall-mounted frame, the structure is designed to support the weight of the resin and the memories inside.
Adding Your Personal Touch Beyond the flowers, I can incorporate your wedding monogram, specific dates, or even pieces of jewelry like Kaleerein or ritual threads. I use Cricut-cut vinyl decals for clean, personalized lettering. If you want to include a photo from your big day, we can coordinate the layout to ensure the blooms frame the image without distracting from it.
Practical Reality Check Resin is a material that requires patience. I use high-gloss, non-yellowing epoxy, but because flowers are organic, they may slightly shift in hue over time. This is part of the charm of a real-flower keepsake. When you reach out, we will discuss your flowers and your expectations to make sure the final piece is exactly what you envisioned.
