My Artist's Sketchbook: Behind-the-Scenes and Hybrid Art
Welcome to my creative space, where memories meet imagination. From whimsical photo illustrations to the messy, real-life process behind every project, this is where I bring ideas to life.
A whimsical photo illustration where I've added playful red pandas and temple bells to a photo of me in a traditional South Indian outfit. This is where my imagination runs free.
Another version of my red panda illustration, showing how I can play with light and shadow to blend the digital drawings seamlessly with the original photograph.
This is the full composition of my "Wedding Shenanigans" art. I love adding a touch of magic and storytelling to real-life photos through digital illustration.

About this collection
I don't just paint on canvas. A lot of my work happens here, in the digital and physical hybrid space, where I blend candid photos with hand-drawn illustrations. If you have a favorite wedding shot, a travel memory, or even a pet portrait you want to make a bit more whimsical, this is the kind of creative magic I play with in my studio.
Behind the Process
This collection is a little peek into how I work. When you see these hybrid illustrations, you are looking at layers of Procreate sketches blended with real-world photography. I love taking a simple, happy moment—like a quiet evening at a wedding or a fun travel throwback—and adding that extra layer of fantasy that makes it yours.
Why No AI?
People often ask about the clean lines and the surreal elements. Every single line you see here is hand-drawn. I have a strict 'no AI' policy because art is about the human story. Whether I am sketching a red panda into a temple scene or planning a complex mural, I want the imperfections and the deliberate choices to be visible. It is slower this way, but it feels right.
How We Can Collaborate
If you have been scrolling through these and thinking about your own memories, let's talk. You do not need a fully formed idea. Sometimes you just have a 'vibe' or a collection of photos you love. Send me your favorite shots, and we can figure out how to weave them into a piece of art that you can print, frame, or share. I work directly with you to ensure the final result captures the exact feeling you remember.
