Industry Trends and Material Sourcing
I don't just pick materials from a catalogue. I see them, touch them, and test them at trade shows before they ever reach your home or office.
Here I am at Wade Asia, one of India's top architecture and design events. Attending these exhibitions allows me to explore the latest in materials, finishes, and technology, so I can offer my clients the best and most current solutions for their spaces.
About Industry Insights & Sourcing
When I walk through trade shows like Wade Asia, I am not looking for what is popular. I am looking for durability. I am checking how a PU panel holds up to scratches, or testing if a new type of WPC louver is actually easy to clean. If I am recommending a material for your kitchen or office, it is because I have already seen it, touched it, and understood how it performs in the real world.
Why I Go to the Source
Most people see an interior designer as someone who draws plans. For me, that is only half the job. The real work is knowing exactly how a material reacts to Delhi’s humidity, how it handles daily traffic in an office, and how long it stays looking new.
Attending industry events like Wade Asia isn't about collecting brochures. It’s about meeting manufacturers directly to understand the tech behind the finish.
What I Look For
- Durability: If it’s for a commercial space, I need to know it can handle constant foot traffic or daily cleaning without chipping.
- Installation Reality: I look for systems that allow for clean, fast installation, which means less dust and noise for you at your site.
- Material Integrity: From PVC charcoal panels to the latest in PU stone finishes, I want to see the raw material. I need to know if it's fire-resistant, water-resistant, or just expensive decoration.
How This Benefits You
When we sit down to discuss your project, you get honest advice, not sales talk. You won't hear me pushing a trend just because it’s on Instagram. You’ll hear me explaining why we are using a specific material, what the pros and cons are, and how it fits into your budget.
Whether you are planning a full-scale office fit-out in Noida or a modular kitchen renovation in Delhi, the materials I suggest are chosen based on real-world performance, not just showroom aesthetics.
