Expert Interior Design Tips and Material Guides
I don't just design, I educate. Here is the logic behind my material choices, finishes, and design trends to help you make your home last.
If you want a modern home but also love a classical look, I can show you how to achieve that timeless blend. In this video, I give four tips, including sticking to a neutral color palette, balancing materials and shapes, and using high-quality, durable materials.
Choosing the right fabric for your furniture can be confusing. I provide three simple tips: check for durability by looking at the rub count, choose a neutral fabric for your main sofa and add trending cushions, and ensure the fabric harmonizes with your overall interior theme.
Here are the most trending fluting designs of 2023. I showcase different types I have used in recent projects, including HDHMR ply flutes with a PU finish, veneer flutes for hidden doors, and even metal flutes for a cost-effective yet appealing look.
Are you tired of using traditional veneers? Let me show you some exciting alternatives that are taking the world of interiors by storm. This video introduces fluted veneers and textured 3D embossed veneers that come in various modern patterns.
A beautiful TV unit can give your living room a luxurious look. I explain the three key elements: an attractive central base using materials like 3D panels or stone, integrated storage to hide clutter, and open shelves with lighting to display artifacts.
My mindset for selecting materials is driven by creativity, functionality, and sustainability. Here, I walk you through trending aluminum louvers that offer an authentic wood aesthetic but are easy to maintain and come with a 15-year warranty.
If you are confused about the right color combinations for your home, this video can help. I showcase some of my favorite interior color palettes, such as beige with forest green and soft grey, to inspire your design choices.
About this collection
Choosing materials is about how they handle daily use, not just how they look. I only recommend what we test in our Delhi factory. Whether it's picking a fabric with a 15,000+ Martindale rub count for your sofa or selecting waterproof HDHMR for fluted wall panels, these technical details determine if your home looks good for one year or ten.
When we build, we think like engineers who have an eye for design. Many people walk into a showroom and pick materials based on the first impression, but that is how you end up with high-maintenance interiors.
Material Science in Your Home
- Fabrics: Always check the Martindale rub count. If it is below 15,000, your furniture will look tired within a year. We push for higher counts because the furniture needs to live through your daily life.
- Wall Panelling: Fluted panels are trending, but the base matters. We use HDHMR for stability and finish. If you want a natural wood feel without the maintenance, look at aluminum louvers; they provide the texture without the risk of warping.
- Hidden Details: A beautiful TV unit fails if it isn't functional. We focus on the 'hidden' aspects—cable management, internal storage depth, and the lighting sensors that activate when you open a wardrobe.
Why I Share This
I often see homeowners paying for luxury items that aren't built for the Delhi NCR climate. My goal with these tips is to give you the knowledge to ask the right questions. When you look at our 3D renders, we are showing you exactly how these materials behave. We manufacture everything in-house in Delhi, which means I personally inspect the PU finish or the metal PVD coating before it ever touches your home. If a material doesn't meet my standards, it doesn't enter our workshop. Use these guides to plan your project, and if you want to know how a specific material will perform in your specific space, let's talk.
