My Barbering Journey and Professional Standards
I’ve spent 13 years perfecting my craft in the chair. Here is a look at the path that led me here, from my dad’s old shop to co-founding Nomad Barber.
A throwback to 10 years ago with my mentor, Miguel. This meeting was the start of a journey that led to us becoming business partners and opening Nomad Barber Mumbai together.
It was a cool moment to be featured in Professional Beauty magazine after reading it for years. I'm committed to doing my part to uplift the barbering scene in India.
Honored to be on the judging panel for the Modern Barber India Competition. It's exciting to see the next wave of talent and help grow our industry.
Visiting the world-famous Nomad Barber shop in London. Seeing my mentor's vision in person, inspired by his travels, was a huge motivation for our Mumbai store.
Getting a fresh crop cut at Nomad Barber London. It's important to me to always be a student of the craft and experience the work of other talented barbers.
Hanging out with the talented team at the Nomad Barber London shop. Being part of this global family is an amazing part of my journey.
About The Journey & The Grind
When you book a session with me, you’re getting 13 years of experience behind the clippers. I don't just cut hair; I apply the same technical discipline I learned from my mentor Miguel and my years of judging competitions to every client, whether it's a skin fade or a hot towel shave. It’s not just about the haircut—it’s about the precision and the chill vibe I’ve built into my shop culture.
My barbering story started in my dad's shop back in 2004. Watching him work gave me the fundamentals, but my career really shifted in 2013 when I met my mentor, Miguel from Nomad Barber. That connection pushed me to travel, learn global barbering techniques, and eventually co-found Nomad Barber Mumbai.
This journey hasn't been about fame—it’s been about the grind. I’ve cut hair for Indian football stars like Sunil Chhetri and Bhaichung Bhutia, judged the Modern Barber India Competition, and brought international-standard grooming to Khar and Dahisar.
What does this mean for you?
- Global Standards: I mix the precision of Western barbering with the authentic feel of a Mumbai barbershop.
- Continuous Learning: I’m still a student. Whether I’m at my family shop, Classic Hair Therapy, or at the Nomad chair, I’m constantly upgrading my tools and techniques to ensure your fade is sharp and your shave is smooth.
- Real Connections: The barber chair is a space for conversation. We keep it real, have a laugh, and make sure you walk out feeling 100% sorted.
If you’re looking for a cut that respects the craft, come through. Let's get you cleaned up.
