About this collection
You see the finished mandala or portrait, but behind that, there is a whole lot of late nights, messy paint brushes, and me trying to get the perfect photo of my work. Creating art is a journey—from the first blank canvas to the final varnish coat—and I love sharing these real, unpolished moments with you.
When I started The Creative Bloc, I did not have a fancy studio setup—just a phone and a lot of passion for doodling. People often ask how I get my dot mandalas so precise or how I capture a personality in a faceless portrait. Honestly, it is a mix of patience and constant practice.
Working from my studio in Lucknow, I treat every piece like a gift for a friend. Whether I am hand-painting a mini easel or spending hours on a larger canvas, my goal is simple: to bring a bit of calm and colour to your space. You will also see me sharing the struggles—like trying to photograph a shiny varnish finish without getting a glare or setting up the perfect studio layout. It is all part of the process.
