Tennis ka asli maza (the real fun) is in the pressure. At ILTA, we believe that tournaments are the true classroom for any athlete. Whether it is an AITA event, CBSE Nationals, or a local DDA tournament, the requirement is the same: discipline, focus, and grit.
Why We Prioritize Match Experience
We don't just conduct drills; we host tournaments year-round. This serves two purposes:
- Pressure Handling: Training is comfortable, but matches are not. We expose our students to winning and losing early so they learn to stay calm under the heat of a tie-break.
- Round Robin Format: We prefer this format because it guarantees multiple matches per player. You get to play, learn, correct your mistakes, and play again. This is essential for junior development.
Our Tournament Categories
- Junior Aptitude (U-6 to U-8): No boring matches here. We focus on target hitting and rally points to build confidence early.
- Round Robin (U-10 to U-16): The core of our development program, ensuring every kid gets court time against different playing styles.
- Open Knockout: For the serious competitors, we host cash prize events on our red clay courts. This is where fitness meets advanced strategy.
We are based in Pitampura and Shalimar Bagh, but our courts are open to players from across Delhi NCR. If you are tired of training without a goal, come train where results are the only currency.
