Parent & Toddler Bonding Sessions in Punjabi Bagh
Bring your little one for a shared journey of discovery. Our sessions focus on connection and foundational growth, right here in our Punjabi Bagh studio. 💛
A mother and her child share a special moment working on a number tracing activity. Our adult-child program is built around these opportunities for connection and shared learning.
A toddler works on a vegetable puzzle, a great Montessori-style activity for learning shapes and vocabulary. The presence of a parent or caregiver provides security and makes learning a shared joy.
Building towers and imagination! A child is engaged in block play, a fundamental activity for developing spatial reasoning and fine motor skills, with his parent right there to support and encourage him.
About Parent & Toddler Bonding Sessions
These sessions are specifically designed so you stay, play, and learn alongside your child. It is not a place to drop them off and leave; it is a dedicated 90-minute block where you participate in sensory activities, yoga, and art, helping you understand how your toddler learns and reacts to new stimuli in real time. 🌈
Why These Sessions Are Different
This is not a nursery or a drop-off zone. We run these sessions with the belief that the strongest learning happens when you and your toddler explore the environment together. Whether it is navigating a sensory bin filled with textures or attempting a simple yoga stretch, your presence provides the security they need to try new things.
What We Focus On
- Sensory Play: We introduce materials that stimulate touch, sight, and sound, helping your toddler process their surroundings.
- Baby Yoga & Movement: Gentle physical activities that build coordination and body awareness.
- Shared Art: Hands-on projects where the process matters more than the final result—it is about the mess and the fun, not the masterpiece.
- Social Milestones: While the children interact, we facilitate a space where you can share notes and build a community with other parents.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does my child need to be a certain age? Our bonding program is best suited for children between 9 months and 2.5 years old. This is a critical window for foundational motor skills and social curiosity.
What if my child gets fussy? That is completely expected. Our space at YoungPlum Studio is safe and supportive. If your child needs a break, wants to sit on your lap, or just watch for a while, that is perfectly fine. We adapt to the mood of the group, not the other way around.
What should we bring? Just yourselves and a readiness to get a little messy. We provide all the materials, from mats to art supplies.
