Real skin needs real care, not layers of heavy product. Here is how I prep every skin type for a non-cakey finish that actually lasts.

Real skin, real beauty. This video shows how I beautifully enhance problematic, sensitive, and textured skin, a technique I teach in my advanced courses.

Skin prep needs to be on point for the best glow. Here I am using a water-based moisturizer, cream-based moisturizer, and magic oil to prepare the skin for a luminous finish.

Learn the art of contouring for deep necklines in my advanced makeup course. This technique helps to define the collarbones and add dimension for a more sculpted look.

The making of a dreamy Mehndi bride. I used miracle oil and moisturizer for dry skin to ensure the base was hydrated and glowing before even starting the makeup.

A quick tip on how to use Huda Beauty foundation on dry skin. It requires a special technique of mixing products to create a seamless and hydrating base that doesn't look patchy.

The making of my prettiest star. This video shows the process from color correction to the final blended look, creating a flawless canvas for this modern bride.

Part two of what's in my bridal skin prep bag. I carry everything from Duraline and various primers to a Gua Sha for de-puffing the face, ensuring I'm ready for any skin concern.

About this collection

You don't need heavy foundation if the prep is right. I use specific techniques—like mixing hydrating serums with foundation for dry skin or using Huda Beauty water jelly for oily skin—to ensure your makeup sits like skin rather than sitting on top of it. If your face doesn't look like a glazed donut before I start applying product, it simply isn't ready for makeup. This approach ensures your look stays fresh and doesn't crack, no matter how long the ceremony lasts.

My Philosophy: Skin is the Canvas

I treat every face with the same 'zimmedari' (responsibility). Whether you have sensitive, acne-prone, or dry skin, my job is to create a healthy base first. If the foundation is built on dehydrated or unprepared skin, it will never look flawless. That is why I spend more time on skin prep than on the actual makeup application.

The 'Glazed Donut' Prep Routine

People often ask why my makeup looks so glossy and natural. It is not about the foundation; it is about the layers underneath.

  • For Dry Skin: I use a mix of hydrating sheet masks and rich moisturizers like Embryolisse. I often mix a drop of magic oil or hyaluronic acid directly into the foundation to ensure it glides on without settling into fine lines.
  • For Oily Skin: I focus on water-based hydration. A product like Huda Beauty Water Jelly is a lifesaver because it grips the makeup without adding extra oil, keeping that shine under control.
  • For Sensitive/Textured Skin: I use gentle, non-irritating primers and prioritize color correction to neutralize redness before adding a single drop of foundation.

Why This Matters

My goal is for you to look like yourself, just the best version. I don't believe in masking your features under a layer of putty. By using international brands like NARS, Charlotte Tilbury, and Estee Lauder in combination with my specific application techniques, I ensure the makeup is sweat-resistant and camera-ready. I also carry tools like Gua Sha and de-puffing patches to handle morning-of-event stress. You are in safe hands at my Lajpat Nagar studio, and I make sure you leave feeling confident and beautiful.
