Join Our Musical Family at Rythem Home
Music isn't just about the notes, it's about the connection. At Rythem Home, we've built a community where rhythm brings us all together. Om Sai Ram.
Happy birthday to my Papa ji, my first guru. Everything I know about music and life started with him. Having a father like him is the greatest blessing.
A glimpse into a typical day at Rythem Home Music Academy. Students of all ages come together to learn, practice, and share their love for music.
Jai Gurudev. A picture with my students after a fulfilling music session. The bond we share goes beyond teacher and student; we are a musical family.
About Our Musical Family
When you walk into our academy, you are not just another student. We sit on the floor in a 'baithak' style circle, just like I was taught by my Papa ji. It is in this close-knit circle that the real magic happens—not just hitting the right bol, but feeling the rhythm together with a family of friends who share your passion.
At Rythem Home Music Academy, the vibe is all about connection. Whether you are a total beginner learning your first 'theka' or someone polishing advanced 'tihais', we believe music is best learned in a group. Our 'baithak' style seating is deliberate. It is how we break the distance between teacher and student. When we sit in a circle, you are not just watching a demo; you are part of a rhythm collective.
This is where you pick up the subtle nuances of hand placement and energy, things that a screen or a textbook simply cannot teach. We keep batch sizes small, between 5 to 8 students, specifically so everyone gets that feeling of belonging. You will find people from all walks of life here, but once the tabla starts, we are all just a family of musicians.
If you want to play for poojas, perform at local events, or just jam with friends, this is the place to get comfortable with the instrument in a real-world setting. We do not just teach music; we live it. Come by for a session and feel the energy yourself. Har Har Mahadev.
Atul Rohtagi
Om Sai Ram! I am Atul, and for me, music is how I breathe. My father is my first guru, and at Rythem Home, we treat every student like family because that is how I was taught—with love, respect, and a lot of rhythm.
