About Tabla & Dholak Lessons
I live for rhythm. Everything I do is soaked in music, thanks to my Papa ji and all the gurus who taught me to treat every beat with respect. My classes aren’t stiff or boring - we honour the roots but also jam to whatever tunes are buzzing in our heads.
How We Learn
- I teach both tabla and dholak, so you can get the whole experience.
- We start basic - learn all the main bols, theka, and get your hands comfy with cycles like Teentaal.
- Once you’re rolling, we jump into Bollywood song tabla tutorials, Punjabi beats, even qawwali and Coke Studio vibes.
- If you’re into bhajans or want to play for poojas, I’ve got dholak rhythms for bhajans lined up too.
Class Formats
- Group jam sessions are my favourite - the energy when everyone hits the beat together, it’s special.
- If you want one-on-one attention, I do solo lessons, whether you’re just starting or want to level up your skills.
The Space
Classes happen at my Rythem Home Music Academy. It’s a chill, positive place - no negative vibes, just music, chai, and good company. Yahan dosti bhi music wali hoti hai (here, even friendships are musical).
If you’re ready for a mix of discipline and fun, and want to learn tabla or dholak the real way, come join me.

My Story
Om sai ram! Music runs in my veins, thanks to Papa ji—my guru, my everything. Recording with him, performing with my band Saaz-e-Mehfil, or just jamming with friends, that’s my life. I always say, 'Zindagi mein aap jaise pita ho to usey bhagya kehte hain!' (If you have a father like you in life, it's called fortune!) Teaching at Rythem Home Music Academy and seeing students find their groove is pure joy. Wherever I go, my tabla goes—Udaipur, Dubai, doesn’t matter. Happiness is rhythm.
